MSP v8 trial transition effects

Is there really no way to have transition effects in V8 working as in V7?

No, just perservere. Believe me, you will not want to go back to 7.0 once you have got the hang of 8.0, it's so much easier and better.

It's much easier. In most cases! But sometimes it gives les opportunities.

It seems for me that when I upgrade I must also continue working with MS7 because of the speed it delivers with certain equal projects with lots of transitions. Then I will insert this in V8. This works fine and so you'll have the best of both worlds.

I'm sorry, but why is it easier? It is much quicker on a single line with auto transitions on overlaps. If you load your clips into Storyboard, you can even have great control over the duration of the transitions. As for doing part in one version and part in another, this is not good practice. If you say this, I believe you haven't yet got the hang of working with 8.0 yet. If I have to go back to 7.3, for an old project, it feels like a step backwards in time to the Middle Ages, it is so clumsy.

Please remember you have probably been working with 7.3 for a long time and know it well; you have a short learning curve with 8.0 to get into the habit of using it. Maybe you are still at the beginning of this learning curve, with all due respect.
