I downloaded the Ulead GIF Animator 5, and I've been playing with it for a couple days now I just can't seem to figure out how to make the background on images transparent yet. Can anyone please help?
Any info will be appreciated. Thnx.

If you are starting off making a brand new animation, click "New." The dialog box that appears lets you select "Fully transparent" - just look at the bottom of that box under Canvas appearance.
Also, on the Optimize tab of the Workspace, there is a little button just to the right of "Matte" on the attribute toolbar. That is the transparency button. It should be on when you optimize.
If you are trying to make the background of an existing image transparent, you may need to use the "Magic Wand" tool to delete the background.
Hope this helps.
By the way, the Web Utilities board is likely the best place for GIF Animator 5 questions.
