CREATE A DISC problem

Post by popcorn »

Hi! I'm new to videostudio7. I've just finished editing my first video. My big problem is burning my project to Video CD (VCD). I don't have a DVD Rewriter. Whenever i click the SHARE button, it won't allow me to click the CREATE A DISC. Is there something wrong with my computer? Or is there another way of burning my project?

Please help. I'm desperate :(

Hi
As far as I know some versions of VS 7 did not have burner software.
Usually where the software came bundled free with other hardware devices.

If you have VS 7SE you may have this problem.

Version VS 7 ESD should work.

Someone once commented that SE stood for ‘Simple Edition’

If you have Nero use that to burn your Cd’s.

Better still upgrade to VS 9.

'Simple Edition' or 'Standard Edition'? well, anyway, SE versions are OEM bundles that lack certain capabilities compared to full versions. Like trevor said, upgrading to VS 9 is a good idea. Or, if you're still not sure, you could go and get the free trial version from Ulead's site.

Thank's for your help! I already burned my first project using Nero. But i cannot play it in our TV, it only plays in our PC.

I'm using VS7 SE. I'm not aware of this 'Simple Edition' thing. Thanks for the added knowledge.

How are you playing it on your TV? Be aware that not all stand-alone DVD players will play home-made VCDs. This is particularly the case with the more expensive brand names, and particularly if they are more than a couple of years old...
