Capturing from DV Camera

Hi,

we have VS9 installed recently, but we cannot capture anything. Have klicked on the capture buttom VS9 crashes. The same thing when we try to open "Change capture Plugin". Any idea ?

We need a lot more information than you have provided. First, How do you have your digital video camera connected to you computer -- via USB, Firewire/i-Link, or other types of cable? What format are you trying to capture in -- DV, mpeg or other? And what are the specifications of your computer?

For high quality digital capture, you absolutely must have a Firewire connection, unless you have a one of the very new, expensive models that can actually use USB 2.0 effectively. But of course, for Firewire to work, you have to have a cable (which never comes with the camera) and a Firewire port on your computer...
