Hi riverhoop
Easy way -->Hire someone else to do it for you
.....
First have in mind what transition(s) you want to use. I generally just use crossfade. Have VS set to automatically insert default transitions.
File-->Preferences-->General Tab, Check the box beside Use Default Transition Effect. Then select which one from the drop down menu.
Then open your project, and click on the folder located on the bottom left of the storyboard/timeline. Select Insert Images You can then browse to the location of your images. Then select them either by shift+click (first then last images) or Ctl+click (selecting specific images and not all in a folder). Click open and it will load all your images onto the timeline, complete with transitions...
Hope that helps
