Has anyone managed to figure out how to create surround sound files as heard in audio editor?
I've used the audio editor to create how I would like the sound to be heard. e.g. Music from the rear speakers and chatter from the front. This sounds fine when setting up the speaker positions of the audio files in audio editor.
When it comes to creating mpeg files, the sound is leaked to all speakers!!!
How do you keep the audio as heard in the audio editor?

There is a -20 dB leak from corner speakers to the 2 adjacent corner speakers and a +6 db leak from corner speakers to C and LFE. I think this is for compatibility with 2.0 systems, but am not sure. I haven't spent much time trying to master it but I did do a few tests while beta testing. IMHO, it is not yet perfect (even the stereo isn't), but it's a start. I hope that there will be an improvement with SP1.
