Video studio 9 stopped burning

Can anyone help! I have been using VS 9 for nearly a year and all the sudden I can not burn DVD's CD's or a video file. When I click burn nothing happens except the timer is running but there is no green progress bar and the percent stays at zero and when I push cancel it freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no avail.

What stage is that at, during the encoding, multiplexing, file system generation etc?

Try to isolate the problem. Start by outputting to an ISO file instead of burning directly to disk, and then using the "VCD / DVD Disk Image Recorder" utility (it's on the Videostudio menu of the Start menu) to try to burn the ISO file.

Also let us know whether you have added any patches to VS and whether you have added any new programs, including either Nero's InCD or Roxio's Pagemaker (?) to your computer just before the problem started.

LOL so weird..........I just started having the same problem tonight too.
It basically never gets past the converting video title stage when I began the burning process ( I think thats what the very first step is called), this is driving me nuts.
