Hi guys,
i'm a vs9 users and now o try msp8 editing a video.
Beyond better quality program respect vs9, more faster, better user interface, i'm trying Dolby Digital 5.1 feature.
What i don't understand is how this feature is use in edit video program.
I have thinked that i can use 6 (fl,fr,c,rl,rr,bass) track as indipendent Dolby track and set volume for each in order to mix audio track as i like.
Instead i found the front track completly indipendet
The rear and bass track are group toghether.
I ask you how i need to use track to create multi-track mix environment.
How i must use and set multi track or do you have a link to explain this feature?
Online help is not completly clear and don't explain how multi track should be use...
Thanks
Marco.
Some question about trial MSP8
First thing is to read pp 145-150 in the manual. Then experiment round this. I haven't mastered it all, yet, and I know there are some problems with the way the mixer panel works. What you should be aware of is that if you have a signal that goes to one corner, the two adjacent corners receive the same signal at ~-20 dB and the C/LFE channels also receive it. I still have a long way to go before I have what I consider a good result and I've been trying to master it, on occasion, for over 2 months.
