I made a 90 minute file out of 4 AVI's (each original AVI was 1 hour), thte end result was a video that was exactly 90 mins on the timeline, however, when I render the project into an MPEG for DVD burning, the length is now 92 mins. I checked at the 30 min mark, to see if it was a gradual drift, and it was only 45 seconds, but at the 60 min mark, the project wasntout of synch (i'm not talking about audio synch, but the rendered video vs the timeline sync, for example: 60m 00s 00f is frame "x" in timeline, and 60:00.00 is frame X in the rendered video, so the sync of the two is perfect, I hope I didnt confuse anyone) and at the end, it is 2 mins out of the timeline, what is going wrong. I tried to give as much detail about the problem, here are the video properties
Original AVI's
DV Type 1, not sure what else is needed here
Rendered MPEG's
NTSC 4:3
6000kbps
29.97fps
EDIT:
Ok This gets even weirder, At the beginning of the project, I have 30 secs of black, I tried to play it in Media Player (what I use dthe first time for the original problem) I got 22 secs of black, and it was only 91.5 mins. Next time I played it again in Media Player, only 9 secs of black, and it was 90 mins 30 secs long, still too long. 3rd time playing the file 15 secs of black, and the video was 93 mins.
This is very weird. What is going wrong??

its for a local community tv station, and as you probably can guess, they need to be in multiples of 30 mins to fit into the schedule, and 92 mins just isnt good enough, it will be cut off at the 90 min mark, I asked because I thought I could expect that the final video that would be the same length as the timeline, anyone would expect that of an editing program.
