Hi everybody,
I'm trying to capture (DV1 format) using the firewire connection on a PC - Windows XP SP2 - that has an AMD 1.5 GHz processor with 512 Mb of RAM . I have this two problems:
1. With the tape playing when I hit capture I always have a blank screen for a few frames after the first few frames are captured. When I hit stop capture the tape stop playing every time. Shouldn't the tape keep playing ?
2. I cannot use the jog wheel (with the cursor) to control the camera playing speed. All other functions controlling the camera work just fine.
I tried this on both my camcorders a JVC GR-DVF 31 and a Panasonic PV GS-400 with the same results.
Can I get some ideas here ?
Thanks,
Silviu

Not sure about the blank frames,Put the camera in stop or pause not run before pressing capture.silviu1 wrote:Hi everybody,

The camera should stop, see File/Preferences/ capture tab.
The jog wheel seems to wiork on my set-up, although it does open a slider rather than turning a wheel(using Panasonic PV GS-400)silviu1 wrote:2. I cannot use the jog wheel (with the cursor) to control the camera playing speed. All other functions controlling the camera work just fine.
