Importing from DVD but get no Audio

I am trying to import clips from a DVD that I recorded on a Sony DVD Camcorder. I can get the clips fine, but there is no audio. However, I know the audio is on the DVD since I can play it with the DVD Player software on my computer and it plays fine, with the audio.

What am I doing wrong, and how can I get the audio with the video?

It is Movie Factory 3.5

Okay, I tried that, hitting the mute button, and then hitting it again, and no change at all, still get excellent video, but no audio. Are there any other hints?

If the audio is in AC3 you need MF4 or MF3 creator edition. AC3 is what most DVD recorders use so I guess it might be what the camcorder uses too.

I have the same problem of no audio after importing from a Sony camcorder. I do have the full version of MovieFactory Disc Creator. I also tried the mute thing but it still does not work. Please help.

Forgot to me\ntion that I have Version 4 with the latest patch 4.03.
