Install and text style question.

The web site states PI 11 boxed version will work with win98, but if you try to install a message states for Windows XP or 2000. Any way to install with 98?

I am unable to get a text style S02 (easy palette > libraries> text > style)and others to work on my text. Any one have this problem? If you get it to work how about a step by step explanation.

I was wondering about that myself. Why would the box support Win98 if the download doesn't? Too bad you had to find out the hard way.

As far as using the Text Library, those are actually text objects that you can edit once you've put them in your image, i.e., if you double click on them, they won't be applied to existing text, as they aren't "presets" but objects in themselves.

Yes that seems to be the way the Text Library works in v10, however in 11 most of the objects won't allow you to edit the text. I am attempting to find if I am doing something wrong.

How do they show up in the Layer Manager? Are they grouped objects? If so, you have to ungroup them first. (Sorry, I don't know if you are an experienced user or not, so am just mentioning the first thing that comes to mind.)
