does anyone else use winMCE 2005 (media center edtion) with photoimpact 11 or 10 and have gotten it to work without crashing every time.
I am forced to still use piXL.
I have contacted Ulead several times about this problem when 10 came out, and have never gotten any response from them.
OS: winMCE 2005 (w/ SP2)
CHIP: AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (1.47Ghz)
MEM: 512 DDR
VID: GeForce FX 5200
pi11 and 10 crashes on start up every time

No experience with your OS. Essentially though, it's supposed to be similar to XP.
Please head here http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=7959 to check the fixes suggested there.
Would apreciate a feedback here as to whether or not any of the suggested fixes worked for you.

still not working
I have tried any of the fixes listed that I could find, but at last it still crashes on start up.
I did find another post that says he had trouble during the "Initializing u321co,fio..." and that seems to be the point that mine crashes on as well.

I have looked through the .dll files and there are many u32*.dll files but not one close with that name. I have also tried to run the program in different compatibility modes under properties on the main program file (Iedit_.exe) and the launcher program file (Iedit.exe), but that had no effect on it.
I'm glad to see that there is someone else using winMCE 2005 and has no trouble with PI10 or 11 crashing, that means it's just me so at least there is hope. Maybe I need to re-install windows.
