capture drops frames
durinng the capture from my camera Panasonic ADS dv ulead keeps droping frames, more than half

Not easy to answer, since you give us virtually no information. How is the camera connected to the computer (normally should be via Firewire)? What are the computer specs? What exactly does 'Panasonic ADS dv' mean? If you are trying to capture DV format, what encoder type are you using? Normally we recommend Type 1 -- check in the Capture page, under the Options cogwheel icon on the left hand side of screen. Using Type 2, which seems to be set as default, will often cause very irregular capture of video and/or audio, especially if you computer is not well endowed.
