Media Studio Pro Upgrade: Errors

Hi:
I have installed Video Studio 9. I also purchased Media Studio Pro 7 Upgrade. The Upgrade installer prompts me to browse for the pre-installed product and I take it to c:\Program Files\Ulead..... Installation begins. Okay, so far so good. But, after installing so many files etc, the Upgrade installer crashes:
Unhandled Exception: DLL Function Call ISRT.AddIcon failed (something like this). 0x80040707
I tried installed a patch for Upgrade msp7_sp3_e_Update_SP3.exe but it looks for some other pre-installed patch, which I cannot download (no downloads are available on the Ulead site right now: All FTP links are broken).
What are my options?

Never mind. I restarted the computer and installed UMS by selecting "Ulead Video Studio 9" program folder for installation folder. It seems to be working fine now.
