Changing Fonts to the text

In older versions of PI there were ways of scrolling through the fonts and the text that you were editing would change to the font you were viewing. Is there a way to do this in PI 11?

I know what you mean, it was such a useful feature. Just another reason to stay with 10 I think. I hate it when developers take out features; it is almost like they never used the thing for what it was intended; if they did, they would realise how bloody useful that was...

Hope they fix it in a patch.

Yes, this is a shame if they've removed this function in the new version. I also understand at one point in v10 that the cursor position indicator was dropped from the status bar. New version=new changes and not always for the better.

But as far as reviewing fonts, while it may not be PI and I hope it's OK to post this here, there is a handy program called FontLister that will let you preview your text in whatever font you choose and also temporarily installs the font on your system at the same time, so you can use it right away in PI's text tool (or any program you may have on your computer, like word processing). Close FontLister or change to a different font folder and the temporarily installed font is uninstalled.
