Capture from Camcorder

I recently purchased a JVC GR-D270 camcorder and would like to know if I can attach directly to Video Studio 9 via USB connection in order to capture video? I am currently using anADS Express module and CapWiz to capture video but it would seem a direct connection would be better?

Forget USB. IF you want to capture video you will need a firewire interface.

Nowadays you can buy a firewire card+cable for around 20.00 bucks.
