Problems with media studio pro DEMO

Hi,

i downloaded the MSP demo from the ulead site and installed it,
but now i cant run the video editing part. Also, in the video capture mode, i cant see mi video, i only hear the sound of it.
I have a Sony handycam digital 8 and the pinnacle hardware for the studio 8.

Could you please help me,

System spec's and type of connection used? DV type 1 or DV type 2?

In Capture, try going into Setup|Change Capture plug-in and select WMV. If that looks better, go back to the usual Ulead Direct Show one. Also select DV type 1, rather than the default type 2.

I have a AMD 64 bit 3400+ and 512 memory but i'm not quite sure what my DV type is. Where can i find it ??

I admit I cannot understand why they have made type 2 the default, because type 1 is as downloaded without modification and causes fewer synch issues.

Probably because many other editors require the use of type 2 (Premiere) and they're following the crowd.
