HI-- I have a piece of video I'm using as my main menu. I need the Play button (a text button created in DVD W.S.) to only be revealed about 8 seconds after the menu has started. Is there any way to do this?

Yes, (sort of) by cheating.
Create two identical menu's, the first however does not have the button,
the second does.
Now on the first Menu set the menu duration to 8 seconds.
Include a button which you make invisible. Drag the Second Menu onto this invisible button.
Set the menu time out function to run this invisible button. It will not fade in but will 'appear' to suddenly become visible. In fact you will now be looking at the second menu instead of the first. If you "see" what I mean.
