Hi. I'm trying to create dvds from tv using a Hauppuage pci 250 card and mf3se. Everything is ok until I try to burn the disk . I then get the message.. Capture failed Created file is corrupt and unusable. It will be automatically be deleted.
If anyone can assist I would be most grateful. Thanks

Are you captureing with MF or with the Hauppauge WinTV 2000 software?
Using the Hauppauge software and hardware together has never resulted in a corrupted file for me.
However MPEGs are not supposed to be edited, and some of my files were corrupted after editing.
So, I had to buy a special purpose MPEG editor. I use the Womble MPEG Wizard for editing. It's only an editor, it does not have DVD authoring capability.

I've used Happauge to record to hard disk but then trying to use mf to write a disk from it was no good. It looked like it would take forever.
I was trying to capture from mf when I recieved the file currupt message.
