I downloaded the trial verison of Pictureshow 4 and am very interested in buying it. However I have created a test show with 10 photographs and burnt it onto a CD as an SVCD show. All goes well until I play it in my DVD player. My DVD player supports SVCDs as I have made them before using other software, but wanted better software. Once in the machine my test disk displays the menu correctly and then shows the first picture OK. But freezes during the transition to the second picture, showing half of both.
The audio track continues to play but the pictures don't move on. Interestingly the remaing time on the CD comes up as over 8 hours and the fast forward functions don't work.When this first happened I thought the disk may have burnt too quickly and corrupted so I reduced the setting to x8 and tried another disk, but with the same results.
Any ideas please as to what is going wrong. I like the software interface, which is easy to use and will consider buying it if I can get the disks to play.
