Unspecified error 800413a3

Post by Skellum »

Tried to burn my project to DVD twice with similar failures - both produced similar error messages, the last is above.

I have created DVD's before using workshop and never had this problem so I wonder if the last update has created a new problem? - in this instance I edited and created a project using Pinnacle 9 and saved it as an AVI file - I then imported this into Workshop for authouring - i.e. adding a menu with chapters (5 motion buttons) before attemting to burn to DVD.

I am a bit of a novice and as I don't work with the programme frequently I may be doing something silly that is easy to correct - any help or advice would be appreciated.

The only other problem I have had (is it related?) is that when I am looking at the menu I have created within workshop with the motion buttons active - when I press play the motion buttons and soundtrack run for the time I have set - but do not return to the beginning and run again - not sure why! Thanks :(

I'm sorry, but you will have to give a lot more detail than that: the sequence in both programmes, the formats/codecs used, the length of the project, project settings in WS2, a rundown of the hardware and OS etc.

Thankyou for your response Devil - I managed to resolve my problems by changing to a different make of DVD and by reducing the write speed to 2x - previously the write speed was set to MAX.
