the VideoStudio 8 Daylight Savings Time found her:

I'll admit that I'm having a little problem with your English (in your long post) but I don't mean that personally at all. I speak several languages myself and know the difficulties. You might want to use shorter sentences.

One problem might be that you are using an "SE" version of Video Studio. An SE version is usually crippled in some way. These versions are included with hardware that people buy; they are not the full version of Video Studio.

If you wanted to pay $49, you could upgrade to the full VS8. I even think those sales might still be on: My local mega-electronics store was selling VS8 for $9.99 a few weeks ago.

For what it's worth, it also can't patch my copy of the ESD version of UVS8 -- it's not an SE version either. I think Ulead needs to patch the patch.

I have just successfully updated my UVS8 with the uvs8_patch1_se_11in1 patch.
However, when I try the daylight saving patch, it comes back with error saying that UVS8 cannot be found.
My copy of UVS8 came as sub-set of UMF3.5, as supplied with Pioneer A08XLA drive.
