Can't Get Response From ULEAD

After registering VideoStudeo 9 I tried to download the FREE MPEG 4 plugin from their Free download webpage. This does not work. So after logging into My Account I went to the online support (Which says that registered users get priority response).

After 2 days I only got an autoresponder acknowledging receipt of my message so I phone called Customer Service and spoke to a guy named Ronald who said "NO PROBLEM", and that I should just email him my order number, and when he gets it he would email me back a link to download the free plugin.

I sent the order number and after not receiving back his promised email I sent it again and now after two days with NO-response (four days from my first email) I tried calling again and now cannot even get through to customer service by phone (message comes on asking me to leave my phone number for them to call me back.. Ha!)

What gives with ULEAD's customer support? I own five ULEAD products and up til now have always been impressed with their support.

What do I have to do to get the so called FREE Download?

Since I posted my problem I actually did get a call back from customer service. A very nice guy named Rich listened to my complaint about not getting a response from ULEAD. He apologized and explained that due to some internal stuff their support staff is short handed. Anyway, he took the bull by the horns, and sent me the link to dowload the Plugin along with the authorization code. It installed with no problem, but I have not yet had a chance to try this MPEG 4 plugin.
Rich handled the matter quickly and I thank him for it, but I hope that ULEAD gets their act together and gives their staff the resources they need to provide good customer service again.

Had the same MPEG4 downloading problem.

I queried Tech Support on Wednesday. "Nelson" handled my request for help courteously and promptly. After a couple of e-mails, I was able to download and install this morning.

Haven't really tried it out, but I can see the MPEG-4 options in the Share/Create Video file menu. My fingers are crossed :wink:

Can I just ask what this MPEG4 plug in will allow you to do? I am new to ULEAD and am trying to find out all the things it can do.
