does anyone know how to get a free update to p11 if you recently purchased p10. i got my p10 less than 60 days ago but have seen nothing on the site handling recent purchases.
other software vendors have a cheerful method to handle recent uprades. i would hope ulead has a similar cheerful method.

I too purchased the upgrade to PI 10 less than 60 days ago. I contacted Ulead customer support today regarding eligibility for a free upgrade. I was told that it was Ulead policy to offer a free upgrade for purchases of less than 30 days. In my case, I'm out of luck. Not only do I not get a free upgrade because of my recent purchase, but they also don't give any discount on an upgrade either. I will have to pay the regular upgrade price of $49.99 if I want PI 11. Very frustrating, as I just paid for PI 10! As you'd previously mentioned, many other software companies are very good about offering free upgrades on a recent purchase (I've had that happen to me too). Apparently Ulead isn't one of them. If I had known that version 11 was due out so soon, I'd have waited another month to purchase PI 10. Very disappointing.
