I am having a bit of a problem with exporting my video when I'm finished with it. When I try to export it as a .mov or .mpg file I receive the following error:
Failed to read 5273856th samples from file...than it gives the location of the MP3 file.
At the bottom it has [18055:0:1]
For some reason it let me export it as a .wmv file.
I sure would appreciate any help anyone might have.
Thanks a bunch,
Quaill

Sorry -- 'export' in the VS sense means that you are trying literally to export the file to an external device e.g. sending a DV/AVI file back to your video camera or a .mov file back to your digital still camera which may have taken the original...
Anyway, a number of people here have had problems with particular versions of MP3. It's a codec thing. LameMP3 seems to be one of the main culprits, though I am sure others will spring to its defence. At any rate, a proven way round the codec problem is to first convert your audio file to the standard .WAV format before trying to do anything else to it.

I have same problem. I added one of the "instant projects" to my project and when I am trying to share the movie it goes up to 3% and then says error.... cannot read .MPA file. Please help!
