Convert Step Got Some Problems! (4101)
This is the error message a receive when I attempted to create a DVD.
Any help is really appreciated.

dmflour, do a search for 4101, you will find many references to it. i had the problem myself after I had applied the patch to VS9. I had to do a complete uninstall (also available in a search) and reinstall and not apply the patch. That cured my problem, I just wish I knew exactly what it was because I had been able to burn after the patch for sometime before it started giving me the 4101 error.

Gee, you would think if they are gonna have numeric errors they would give you the list of what they mean...

You ask for too much Disc. I was just thrilled to see text, but that was useless too.

I got the same error every time I tried to make a DVD.
What the heck does "got some problems" mean?
You only need to scan this group for evidence of my header statement.

Luckily, there are users who solve the company's problems for them and post the answers.

Follow the procedure written on the top post of this group to create your dvd. It's a few more steps but should result in less frustration and a high success rate.

I did and get great results every time (now).
