stuttering and zoom
Im capturing from vcr to burn dvds and ive noticed a stuttering in some parts of the video. My settings are recommended ones and my machine is pretty high end. I also turn off all the antivirus/antispyware/zonealarm et al stuff before i do anything. I heard that sometimes some video cameras have a problem with optical zoom at max combined with the antishaking setting. Is this an issue?
how are you capturing from your vcr (what hardware is involved during the capture)?
also, is the stuttering with the original captures, or only after you burn to dvd?
What are the properties/settings you are using for your dvd -- mpeg-1 or mpeg-2, resolution, framerate, bitrate, audio type?
And what are the properties of your captured videos?
