Deleting Slideshows

Post by gclupo »

What is the best way to delete a slideshow and all folders associated with it? I created several slideshows, burned them to disc successfully, then deleted them from the Slideshow folder to free up disk space. However, I noticed remnants of these slideshows remained in a Cache folder as well as the Photo Slideshow folder. I deleted contents of the Cache folder and that seemed to do the trick, but it did affect other slideshows I did not delete....had to go back and add text & music. Seems like a simple thing, but looks like there is more than one step involved. Thanks for some advice on the best way to completely delete a slideshow once I'm done with it.

Have you tried opening your project and then delete the slideshow you want to delete by highlighting the slideshow and then click the trash icon? :D

I tried that. The slideshow was deleted, but I found remnants of those deleted slideshows in the Cache folder. I deleted contents of that folder but it affected other slideshows.....text and music were deleted. Thanks.

Does the cache folder within program files? I guess you don't have to delete those. Also, you might have relocated your music and some fonts were deleted in your system. Take extra precaution deleting files, it might cause problem with your program. :D

No..didn't delete anything from Program files. This folder was in the Slideshow Folder in My Documents. It just seems when you delete a slideshow, everything associated with that particular slideshow is not deleted. I will pay special attention in the future.....been working with this program for a only a few weeks. Love it, but lots to learn. Thanks again.
