Can overlay images "follow" the video track?

Hi!

This is my first post... looks like a great forum!

I'm considering getting Ulead VideoStudio 9, but I have a question on overlays.

I have a video (which will be my base track) of someone driving a vehicle slowly across the field of view. The driver is plainly visible. What I'd like to do is make an image (with a transparent background) of a different individual to be fitted over the existing driver, and "attach" the new driver to the car over top of the original driver. The net effect would be to have someone different be driving, and to have the driver move wherever the car goes.

I feel that this can be accomplished, but what might be the best way?
