I'm using a trial version and only have 17 days left and it takes a while to do a project I'm doing right now so I need help immediately!
I was working with mediastudio pro and it was working fine then two days later, when I went to go open it up, it wouldn't open. I tried to reinstall it by uninstalling it then reinstalling it again, removing all files from my computer that Ulead installed, restarted (and shut down all the way) my computer but nothing. Why did the product suddenly quit working? I downloaded it from www.download.com and I tried to download it at Ulead website while trying to reinstall it and nothing happened. Is there some kind of technical problem and when should it be fixed.
I appreciate your time and attention to this as soon as possible.
Oh, I should also add that it's only the video editor that's having the problem. Audio editor and video capture are working fine.
Thank you.
NEED HELP WITH MEDIASTUDIO PRO IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!

It might not be the video editor either. You may have corrupted your project file. Do have a backup of it? If yes, open that, if not, try to rename the project file in Win Explorer and then open it in MSP. I remember one case where that approach helped a user, stuck like you are.
To eliminate the editior as a source of your trouble, try to start another project, just a short one, to see if that works. If not, you will have to uninstall the program completely, clear out all temp files and delete all the folders created by MSP. rid your registry (be careful with that or get professional help if you unsure) of all things ULEAD MSP. Then re-install. I'm not sure though, could be that your trial will not work after that, it may be considered expired.
Well, if it doesn't work anyhow, what have you got to lose.

Did it work?
Not clear whether you have sorted that one out. It's difficult to rid the system of all files without a definitive list of what they are, as some may be in the systems folder etc etc...
It could be that the file that enables the program is corrupted for the video editor if it's not the project file. You would need to manually delete the files and entries that log the time clock and then reinstall. Naturally Ulead would be unlikely to give out this info as everyone would be deleting and reinstalling again...
This is possible but you would be better off getting yourself some imageing software so you could write over your system and registry files from a copy you should make just before you install trials or new programs. Writing over is not something to do regularly as you wouldn't be able to install anything, but a handy habit to get into to prevent future losses. Norton Ghost or drive image 7 (both Symanted) are recommended for system backups with xp or win 2000 prof. If you want more info try my messenger address.
