How to capture from a DVD??

HI. I have Videostudio 7SE. I am an actor and have some clips of my work on a DVD and would like to edit them down to a minute but for the life of me I have no idea how to get Videostudio to open these clips and edit them. I can open and view them and download them with MovieFactory but it saves them as a wmz file or seomthing like that and I can't read them with Videostudio. I have been able to hook up my DV camcorder and edit video but as I say.... I can't seem to be able to work with the clips that are already on a DVD. Help please! Thanks.

There are two ways to do that with UVS 7:

1. Change the Capture Plugin to the DVD Capture plugin, then use Capture

or

2. Copy the .VOB file(s) from the DVD to your hard drive, and rename them to have a .MPG extension.
