Videographics Lab - an upgrade or repackage?

Post by David_S »

I am considering upgrading from MS7 to MS8 which I am trialling. MS7 came with VideoPaint and CG Infinity but with MS8 these are bundled as an optional extra under the title Videographics Lab. Are the versions in Videographics Lab the same as the MS7 versions (v 7.3-.1001) or have they been upgraded?

I believe they are essentially similar but
a) cosmetically changed to have a similar "skin" to MSP8
b) now capable of HD formats

I suggest that, unless you are into HD, you may wish to use the v. 7 variants.

I thought as much and as I am not into HD yet I will stick with the MS7 variants, as you suggest.
