DVD burning

I have downloaded a trial version of Movie Factory 4.0. The authoring goes fine but when I try to burn a disk the progress gets to 66% then stops. Is this happening because it is a rtial version?

I have 3.0 and have burned disks of the same project without a problem.

The failure has happened four times, 3 using Maxell disks and once with a Sony disk. I have seen no indication on any of the disks that any burning has taken place.

The project needs 5.93 GB of HD space and the space available is 49.82 GB so I figure that is not the problem.

The disk space needed is only 2.99 GB

Does anyone have an idea as to why the burning proceedure fails?

I had the same problem. I installed Patch 2 and got to 100% but the program just sits there and nothing is burned to the disc.

66% in the overall progress bar is usually the point where the software actually starts to initialize the burner. it may fail if there are some packet writing software that takes over the burner when a blank disc is detected.

if you have Ulead data-add, nero incd, roxio dragtodisc, or the old adaptec directcd, try uninstalling them.
