Photoimpact 11 and.... all the same ....

Post by hexplor »

That's the reason I've stop using photoimpact. I've been using it for a 4 years and I've found it very useful but now... It is only the same photoimpact version by version with changed few cosmetical things and enhanced functionality.

First. MASKS What is that *** ?
This is the most funny thing in photoimpact. You can edit masks on object but you can't edit it again :D:D:D I've written a letter to ulead and what ? they haven't changed only few things. Masks is the main tool in proffesional software. Sad that ulead guys won't understand that.

Second THE MOST STUPID ANNOYING MESSAGE "Your object is locked. If you want (....)" IF object is locked why it is selectable  And it is difficult to implement an option to disable this stupid messages ehh probably yes...

So, probably I'll never use photoimpact again..

I think PI have some problem less usefull than Photoshop in Filter.
When I apply a filter to object --> all it have down just in a bounding box ( inside your selection - in side this object )
But In PTS not like that. It can tramform object out of it's bounding box when you apply a filter.
( Sorry about my Eng )

I just got the trial version and was disappointed to see the same clunky processing dialog boxes as previous builds; I was hoping 11 would have some sliders with more real estate (like Photoshop) to permit fine adjustments without having to use the number up/down buttons. And now the context-sensitive help button is gone, too.

However, I still like the reset option -- and a few other features -- more than the Adobe product.

Guess I'll keep using PI8 along with photoshop -- the best of both worlds.
