Frames and Themes
Can anyone tell me where I can go to find out how to creat my own frames. I have a lot of custom templates I've created in Photoshop CS and would like to do the same for PictureShow ...

Greg,
The "Props" (with transparent backgrounds) included with PS4 all have the .UFO file extension which is associated with Ulead's PhotoImpact. You could experiment by downloading the PI trial package and creating some test objects. It's definitely possible to import standard image files (i.e.; jpg) as overlay objects through the main program interface e.g. Organize > Decorate > Use Other Props, and then following a path to your new image files. So it may be that .UFO files could be sucessfully imported as well (just a guess on my part). Assuming the transparancy properties of your .UFO image objects was retained after importing, they might work as simple overlay images.
I'm not precisely sure how true "frame" templates are created. According to another user I've been in touch with, you'd have to run unknown command lines on "SmartCacheMain.exe" which apparently is the engine PS4 uses to generate the needed index files used in conjuction with various images to create templates.
I'm new to PS4 so it's all speculation at this point. Not really what you're looking for but by all means let us know if you discover anything of interest
