Is it possible when capturing from the camcorder, that no image (thumbs) get into the timeline ?

just grab it and paste it on the time line

If I understand your question - you would like to capture without all the clips being pre-loaded into the timeline when you are finished.

As far as I know, that can't be done. What I do to get around that is, once I have loaded all my myriad clips and am ready to start sorting them into a project, go to File - New Project. (and, no, I don't want to save Untitled....)
