Crash when adding background music

I have been trying to burn a DVD on VS9 but each time I try to add background music to a menuscreen, it crashes. Anyone having similar problems?

I haven't had any problems with VS9 but in the dark old ages of an earlier version, can't remember which, I had problems when using MP3 files.

I had no problems if I used WAV files. You could use the freebie "Audacity" to do the conversion.
