So I"m not the only one that gets that error :)

Until I realized why, I pulled my hair out (now I'm almost bald) trying to figure it out. However if you read the error message it is one of few that actually tells you something...

Any way what is occurring is that it thinks your Temp file/folder is too full. Temp is just that, Temporary files needed to run a program or two. What I done was this. Navigate to the Temp folder and highlight everything (Ctl +A) and Delete. Do not delete the Temp folder, just everything in it.
My Computer -->C:/-->Documents and Settings-->User Name-->Local Settings-->Temp. You must have your folder settings where you can see Hidden files/folders. Local Settings is a Hidden Folder.

That should help :)

thanks for taking the time to reply. I have tried your suggestion and it didn't help, but thanks anyway.

I'm going to take the time to download the upgrade to see if that fixes it.

Thanks

Give us your system's specs (CPU speed, RAM, HD free / used , etc.) and the brand and type of DVD you're using. Close all other running applications in the background and remove unneeded external devices that might interfere with your burner.

thanks for your reply. Specs are Pentium4 1.7 ghZ, 256MB Ram and the DVD burner is a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108.

I am not overally confident with computer specs, so I hope this is the info you needed. As for external devices the only thing I have is my all in one printer statation.

I have downloaded the 'fix' it patch from the Ulead websiet for VS9 and it didn't help.

Your help is much appreciated. :D

Maybe some of the files in your VideoStudio's installed software are not functioning, or one of the file is missing or has been corrupted and need to be replaced. Then please logon as Administrator and try the following suggestions to fix:

1) Clean up temp files from\Start menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disk Cleanup.
2) Uninstall VideoStudio 9 from control panel Add/Remove programs
3) Delete following folders
=>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio
=>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SmartSound Software Inc
=>C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\My Documents\Ulead VideoStudio
=>C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems4) Reinstall VideoStudio 9 again and all the components.
5) Please install the VideoStudio 9 Update Pack that you can download from our website:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp.htm

Please avoid the unnecessary conflict, temporarily turn off all applications includes anti virus, norton utilities, or the other memory resident program and the Internet connection etc. before you run VideoStudio.

I had recently had trouble burning to RW discs. I never had any problems with prior versions, but this was the first time I tried to burn to an RW with v9. I tried several different RWs and just couldn't get it to finish. What eventually solved my problem was burning to an R disc - worked perfectly (and that was the only thing I changed).
