Cutting out and saving a selection of video?

This is probably the easiest thing ever or it can't even be done with this program but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I recorded an old VHS tape onto my harddrive and I want to cut a clip (couple seconds long) out of it and save just this clip onto my harddrive seperately. Can this be done? I tried selecting the clip I wanted and going to 'save as' but it wants to save as a .dwz file.

To the left of the timeline on the Add/Edit screen are 4 icons. One of them is "export selected clips" and that will be available if you select a clip or clips.

i dont see the "export selected clips" on DVD MovieFactory 3. am i missing something?

My previous answer referred to version 4. Sorry, but I can't remember if "export clips" was an option in version 3.
