I'm in Oz and my settings are on PAL. I'm currently using version 8 which i recently purchased. I have also just formatted my hard drive as i was having the same prob with the jittery video/audio when i was capturing it with firewire in movie maker.
Prior to the XP service packs, i had no probs with video capture?
