creating a dvd

im new to making movies and im using media studio pro 7. i just bought a dvd recorder and i have a video in media studio i want to place on a dvd so it can be watch on a regular dvd player, but im not sure on how to do it. ive created a video file using the compression for dvd, but when i try to burn it using nero i get error messages. i cant figure out how its done.

You now need to author the DVD, in other words, take your output video from MSP and create a set of files which are structured in a way that a dvd player can recognise. This is done with a program such as DVD Movie Factory(amongst many others), but if memory serves me DVD Movie Factory came bundled with MSP 7?
