Love Photoimpact but no cd to reinstall.....friend lost it

Love Photoimpact & all it does. I have since I got my computer 5 years ago. I loaned my cd to a friend & she has since lost it. Hmm, didn't know that until after I reformated puter. Does anyone know where I can get another, I don't have my serial number, was on my disk.... I was using PI 5 version.... Thanks all

I guess you'll have to buy a new one. May as well go for the latest version since version 5 is no longer available for download. Maybe some store may have an older version at bargain basement prices.

If it was a later version like PhotoImpact 8 or XL you could have contacted Ulead Customer Service. Because I don't think they support version 5 anymore. Also, they would usually require you to submit some sort of proof of purchase at least (if it was directly purchased from them).

Don't think you will get much sympathy from Ulead. In the first place, you were certainly violating your licence agreement by lending your CD-ROM to a third party, assuming you were the licence holder in the first place.

However, be consoled that you are no longer eligible for an upgrade to the latest version, anyway. You have therefore two choices: you spend 90 bucks and get the latest version or try to find a new, unregistered, licence for v. 6 or later for under $40 and get a $50 upgrade.
