Own VS9.
Tried 4 times and failed. Hopefully someone has an answer.
I have a short video file (4-minutes) of digital pictures only (no video).
What I like to do is play burn the file to CD to play in my DVD player and to play on my pc using Windows Media Player.
My DVD player does play video CD's.....Any suggestions would be appreciated.

VCDs are far more compatible than SVCDs. Another option is to burn a cDVD / MiniDVD, which is a DVD project that is output to CD media. A short video with still images such as your project is perfect for that.
Create a normal DVD project, keep the video bitrate fairly low (~6000Kbps), and use Frame-based video instead of interlaced as is normally recommended. When you burn the project to disk, insert a CD instead of a DVD.
