VS9 Fit & Burn does not seem to work
I have several projects that are over 1 hour in length but less than 2. I do all my editing in AVI and then render to DVD Mpeg. I then use VS9, Share, Create Disc to burn the MPeg to DVD. I need to use Fit and Burn since MPeg is over 1 hour. No matter which Mpeg I select, Burn gets to some % (depending on the size of the MPeg) and stops with an error message that says it's too big to fit on a DVD. Is this not the purpose of Fit and Burn. I realize I can use, and do use, DVDShrink, but does VS9 Fir and Burn not work?

I may be wrong, but from my brief experience with VS9's Fit and Burn, I suspect it was a nice idea but not fully followed through. It seems to work if you have about 5 minutes, and not much more than that, over the desired time. But if you are a lot more than that, as it sounds you are, Fit and Burn never seems to work, at least for me. At any rate, I find that DVD Shrink works just fine and does it all automatically with great results. Nero's Recode also works well in this regard, but this is not surprising since the guy who invented Shrink now works for Nero.
