film generic VS titles

Post by juju »

Hi there,
I'm using VideoStudio 9 to generate a movie containing some titles. The problem I have is that I can not see any option allowing to have a title with a black background instead of the movie itself.
In fact, I would like to have a kind of generic that would be displayed during 10 sec and then the movie would start.
I'm finished with the video editing and this is the only point that prevents me from generating the result... pleqse help me !

Click on small window in top right of screen where you see 'Video' and a downward pointing arrow. Choose 'Color' and then click and drag Black. This inserts a black color still image in the timeline for the default length you have set (or accepted) for such inserts -- I think the default may be about 8 seconds. To extend, either drag on the yellow bar at the right end of the black in the timeline or else adjust the time in the little window in the top left of screen.
