HELP !!!! HELP!!!!

I have already wasted a week of my life without any results.
I bought the DVD EZmaker USB 2 for making digital videos from analog camcorder or VCR.
The software received with the EZMaker is the Ulead MF2 and....it is not working.
When trying to capture video I see a black screen, no preview, and what is worst after 4 seconds is disconected. The MF 2 apparently does not receive the camcorder signal, and I don't know what to do.
All what I am doing every day is unistalling, installing again, either the driver for the EZ Maker and the software of MF2.
HELP !!! What else can I do ?

Go to the capture video window then click on 'Capture Settings', then 'Change Capture Plug-in'. Interchange "Ulead DSW MPEG capture plug-in" (for MPEG) with "Ulead DirectShow capture plug-in" (for AVI).

Always connect your camcorder/VCR first to your EZMaker and turn it on before you run MovieFactory. Make sure the cables are connected to the correct ports.

I have tried, but it is the same.
No picture, no sound , just a black screen like in the beginning
Any other idea of how to solve the problem?
