Ulead video studio 9 Won't start Fixed problem

Found the problem. I spent the entire day fixing the problem. It' about codec's 100% sure. I reinstalled winxp and all of the progs and codecs and it wasn't working. Than I uninstalld 1 software per time and bang. After deleting the ffdshow codec it works perfectly. Checked with other codec's . It's always about codecs. Even the graphic-card ones and audio. Play with codecs and you 'll see. Hope so. It worked for me and my friends.

Hi Alien01,

Very interested party here re your VS9 crash on startup problem. I have struggled with such a problem for a week now and had resigned myself to giving up on VS9 altogether until I saw your post. I assume that my problem was the same as yours, namely it worked fine then it stopped working all of a sudden thereafter when you start it up and click on 1 of the 3 options it thinks about it for a while then throws up an error message saying it will have to close down.

I am no expert on computers and software (codecs) so any further advice and guidance on resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
