VS9 Importing video from a DVD

I have VS8 and VS9. I have had no problems in the past importing video from a DVD into VS8. When I purchased VS9 and installed it, I tried to import video from a DVD and VS9 crashes every time, so I started VS8 and tried to import video into VS8 from the same DVD and VS8 worked fine. What can I do to fix the problem in VS9?

The best I can offer is a complete uninstall and re-install of VS 9 - importing a DVD works just as well for me in VS 9 as it did in VS 8.

Same for me. Actually, I like VS9 better when doing this.
