Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to use strobe motion video effect, in VS9? I want to be able to speed parts of a clip up and down, but I can not figure out how to. Does anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on what each function under the "customize filters" does? The manual does not really go into detail.
Also, Has anyone addressed the fact that when they replay the stobe motion effect in the "customize filter" feature, it does not work correctly? It makes the video you applied the effect to, jump all over the place, forward and backward. When you watch the clip in the timeline, the clip is fine, no skipping.

Sorry - can't help with the filters. But re changing the speed of your clip, in VS9, in the Edit screen, there is a button about a quarter of the way down the left hand side labelled Playback Speed. Click on that and change the playback speed by one of the three suggested methods on the pop-up screen (change the 100% up or down, change a slider or drag the yellow bar at the end of the clip forward or backward).
